A Taste of Korea in Bangkok

The 2024 Nonsan Strawberry Festival at Siam Paragon Shopping Center in Bangkok was a vibrant showcase of Nonsan's renowned strawberries from South Korea. This event featured a diverse array of strawberry-based products, from fresh fruits to delicious desserts, allowing visitors to indulge in the exceptional flavors of Nonsan's finest produce.

Opened by Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, the festival marked the first international debut of Nonsan strawberries. It featured traditional Korean cultural performances, Thai-Korean dance shows, and concerts by artists from both countries. Booths showcased Nonsan's agricultural products, attracting a global audience and highlighting Bangkok's status as a major tourist destination.

K-POP Cover Dance Contest

A highlight of the festival was the "K-POP Cover Dance Contest 2024" held by the Korean Cultural Center. The contest featured 9 finalist teams, selected from over 49 competing teams, performing covers of popular K-POP artists such as BTS, RIIZE, and aespa. The event also included a special performance by T-POP idol BERRY BERRY.

The team "EZ BoyZ" won the competition with their rendition of "Fearless" by LE SSERAFIM, receiving a prize of 15,000 baht and a K-POP album. The performances were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience, highlighting the growing popularity of K-POP culture. The Korean Cultural Center expressed gratitude for the participation and emphasized their commitment to promoting Korean culture through future events.
